*The source counts the answers of the survey conducted in December 2023 as figures for fiscal year 2023. The Japanese fiscal year starts on April 1 of the stated year and ends on March 31 of the following year.
Respondents were asked to which degree the information of social media could be trusted. There were five possible answers: "One can trust it very much," "One can trust it to some degree," "One cannot really trust it," "One cannot trust it at all," and "I do not use or know that source of information in the first place." The values shown in this statistic represent the combined share of respondents who answered either "One can trust it very much" or "One can trust it to some degree."
