Food retailers market share in Portugal Q4 2021-Q4 2023, by brand
In Portugal, Sonae was the food retailer with the biggest market share in the fourth quarter of 2021, 2022, and 2023. Jerónimo Martins followed, with 21.2 percent in 2023. Lidl was the third most relevant food retailer in the country, having increased its market share by almost two percent, in the fourth quarter of 2022, but ending with 13 percent of the market by 2023.
