According to Statista's Consumer Insights, the share of bank account holders who processed banking affairs in person in a branch was seven percent in the third quarter of 2024. Customers in Finland much prefer the less traditional ways of banking, such as mobile and online banking. This can be seen, for instance, in the exceptionally high mobile banking usage in the country.
