Processes in banking affairs in Austria 2024
More than half of the bank account holders used mobile banking to process banking matters in Austria in the second quarter of 2024. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, the share of respondents who processed banking matters on smartphone or tablet was 59 percent, making it the primary method to deal with banking matters. Processing banking matters online (via PC or laptop) ranked second, while less than 30 percent of the respondents still used branch banking as the primary method.
