According to a survey carried out in October 2022 among farmers in the United Kingdom, almost 50 percent of respondents stated that they will stay in farming but are already diversifying, or will need to diversify, their business into non-farming areas. The survey was carried out while the UK moves away from the EU's Common Agricultural Policy.
