Almost a third of all bank account holders expressed doubts about their financial future in Italy in the third quarter of 2024. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, the share of bank account holders who worried about their financial future was 31 percent in the third quarter of 2024, three percentage points lower than a year earlier. This was below the share of respondents worrying about their financial situation in the second half of 2020 and in early 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic was spreading rapidly in the country.
