According to a survey on luxury goods purchases between April 2022 and April 2023, approximately 34 percent of mainland China consumers said that they bought their first luxury goods between the ages of 23 and 25. Meanwhile, nearly 90 percent of the respondents started purchasing luxury goods before 30.
