Warehouse vacancy rate in the UK in Q1 2023, by region
The vacancy rate of industrial and logistic real estate over 100,000 square feet in the United Kingdom (UK) was the lowest in the South West region in the first quarter of 2023. At 2.31 percent, the vacancy rate of large warehouses in the South West was less than half of the national average of 4.7 percent. In Wales and the East of England, the share of vacant warehouse space was significantly higher. Overall, the warehouse vacancy rate in the country has decreased dramatically in the past decade.
