Processes in banking affairs in Germany 2024

Mobile banking was the primary method to process banking matters among bank account holders in Germany in the fourth quarter of 2024. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, the share of bank account holders who processed banking matters on smartphone was 52 percent. Online banking via PC or laptop was the second most common method, while a third of respondents used branch banking to deal with banking matters.
