In 2022, 59 percent of the respondents in a survey conducted in South Africa reported that they support the privatization of the South African energy company Eskom, as they see that this would lead to effectiveness in the provision of electricity supply in South Africa. On the other hand, 25 percent reported that they disagreed with this solution, while some 16 percent reported that they either were neutral, refused to answer, or didn't know.
