Among the various indigenous short-form video apps in India, Moj had the largest user base, amounting to over 160 million in 2021. MX Takatak followed closely with the second largest number of users. Since the Chinese app, TikTok was banned in India in 2020, a slew of Indian alternatives emerged in the market. Although their growth trend has been slow, their user experience and satisfaction has been comparable to global players.
