The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) was signed in 2021. It aims to make major investments in U.S. broadband, transportation, and energy infrastructure. The legislation designates around 37.87 billion U.S. dollars for projects relating to environmental resilience. Within this funding area, around 7.3 billion U.S. dollars are allocated for Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost-Saving Transportation. An additional 3.5 billion is allocated to Flood Mitigation Assistance Grants.
