According to a survey conducted in the Asia-Pacific region among marketing and communication professionals in 2023, 17 percent of the professionals stated that social media was extremely important as a channel in their organizations. In contrast, two percent of the surveyed marketing and communication professionals in the region ranked the importance of social media in their organizations at one on a nine-point importance scale in 2023.
