The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) was signed in 2021. It aims to make major investments in U.S. broadband, transportation, and energy infrastructure. The legislation designates around 16.63 billion U.S. dollars for projects relating to electric vehicles, busses and ferries. Within this funding area, around 5.62 billion U.S. dollars are allocated for Low or No Emission (Bus) Grants. An additional five billion is allocated for the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program.
