Processes in banking affairs in the U.S. 2024
Mobile banking was the primary method to process banking matters among bank account holders in the United States in the fourth quarter of 2024. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, the share of bank account holders who processed banking matters on smartphone or tablet was 63 percent. Branch banking ranked second with 45 percent, surpassing online banking with 39 percent. Online banking usage dropped significantly between 2019 and 2024.
