The number of e-bikes sold in Germany has been on an upward trend in recent years. The most popular type of e-bike in Germany is mountain bikes, which accounted for 39 percent of all e-bikes sold in the country in 2023. This was followed by trekking bikes, which held a market share of 25 percent.
