The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law was signed in 2021. It aims to invest in U.S. broadband, transportation, and energy infrastructure. Roads, bridges, and other major projects is expected to be the largest spending category, with investments reaching an estimated 326.27 billion dollars. Within this area, around 148 billion dollars is expected to be invested in the National Highway Performance Program. An additional 13.2 billion is allocated for congestion mitigation and air quality improvements.
