Distribution of staple diets in Portugal 2023
In Portugal, 88 percent of respondents in 2023 declared having an omnivorous diet, while eight percent stated being flexitarian. The staple diet with the lowest representation in the country was the one that excludes the consumption of meat completely, which constituted just four percent of respondents.
