In Portugal, between 2022 and 2023, 37 percent of all food adverts viewed by the respondents was related to food brands. Adverts to food delivery apps constituted 24 percent of all advertisement viewed by the surveyed children. Finally, supermarket ads were 11 percent of food adverts to which children were exposed. Alcoholic beverages, not meant to be consumed by children, were watched in adverts at a share of eight percent.
