A survey conducted in Japan in February 2022 showed that 51 percent of smartphone users in their twenties used five to nine apps on a daily basis. The share was almost equally high among those aged 15 to 19 years old. The survey also showed that 27 percent of users between the ages of 15 and 39 used at least ten apps on a daily basis.
