As of September 2022, the 90-day delay past due date (DPD) of vehicle loans in India stood at six percent, the highest among other asset segments such as loans against property, home gold, and unsecured loans. However, the asset quality improved across segments in the first half of the fiscal year 2023. DPD refers to loans past the due date and those that are not considered fully collectible.
