Podcast subscription status in Vietnam 2022, by generation

Based on a survey conducted in May 2022, the majority of Vietnamese across all generations took less interest in listening to podcasts. In particular, 64 percent of baby boomer respondents said they would neither pay for nor likely subscribe to podcast services next year. On the contrary, podcast subscriptions were popular among other generations. A quarter of Gen-X respondents who did not pay for podcasts yet said they would subscribe in the near future.
