The Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill (BIB) was signed into law in 2021 as part of Joe Biden's Build Back Better plan - which was ultimately split into separate bills. The BIB looks to make heavy investments in transportation, energy, and water infrastructure, as well as expanding broadband access to rural America and its territories. California is expected to receive around 20 billion dollars under this law. Texas and New York also expect to receive more than ten billion U.S. dollars. A distribution of how states expect to spend this money across categories can be accessed here.
