As of June 2023, EnBW Hohe See was the largest offshore wind power plant in Germany. The offshore wind farm is located in the North Sea and has a capacity of almost 500 megawatts. This wind power plant was followed by Borkum-Riffgrund II, which has a capacity of roughly 465 megawatts and also sits in the North Sea.
