Throughout the analyzed period, the ratio of exports to imports in Turkey was the highest in 2019, at 86 percent. By 2023, this ratio regressed 70.6 percent. Accordingly, the foreign trade deficit in Turkey exceeded 106.3 billion dollars in 2023.
