During the 2021/22 academic year up to the start of the 2022/23 year, 4.08 percent of secondary school students abandoned their education in the city of Jerusalem. The dropout rate among boys was significantly higher than of girls, and stood at 6.22 percent. On the other hand, the dropout rate among female students was only 1.81 percent.
