Discount and dollar stores recorded the highest growth in visits to U.S. stores in the month of February 2022 when monthly visits increased by 12.7 percent compared to the same period in 2021. The largest decline was recorded in April 2023 when monthly visits dropped by 3.6 percent compared to a year earlier.
