Preference regarding income and free time in Japan 2022
In a survey conducted between October and November 2022, the majority of respondents in Japan stated they would prefer a higher income over an increase of free time. About 53.7 percent of the respondents preferred a higher income, as opposed to 41.9 percent who would rather have more leisure time.
