In Hungary, around 40 percent of viewers claimed that they almost always switched TV channels when advertisements came on. Nearly one-third of the viewers said that they usually did not watch ads and often switched channels during ad breaks. According to the survey realised in 2022, only about five percent of respondents said they always watched advertisements and never switched channels during ad breaks.
