Overall, the total value of products and services exported from Romania constantly increased since 2012. The only exception was in 2020; there was a drop in the export value of approximately 8.8 billion euros compared to the previous year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, by 2023, Romania's export value was worth nearly 127 billion euros.
