In 2020, Egypt had a total of 69,071,818 patients in both public and private hospitals. The largest group of patients was the group of outpatients in public hospitals, with 42,856,391 registrations. The smallest number of patients was the number of inpatients in public hospitals, with a total of 1,448,928.
