Types of preventive services women had to forgo in the U.S. as of 2022
As of 2022, some 22 percent of women surveyed in the U.S. mentioned that they had forgone preventive health services, such as a yearly check-up or routine test in the past year. Another 14 percent women mentioned that they had skipped a recommended medical test or treatment.
