In 2018 in Australia, around 8.5 percent of people with a disability reported that they had experienced discrimination from an 'other source', such as an employer, work colleagues, family or friends, teachers or lecturers, and a range of other sources, in the 12 months preceding the survey. The majority of people with a disability reported that they had not experienced discrimination in the time period.
