After the combination of HBO Max and Discovery+ into the one streaming service Max, the majority of its movies and TV shows will belong to the documentary and drama genre, with over 30 percent of the total content available falling into this category. Furthermore, while former HBO Max did not provide reality TV shows at all, the new streaming platform offers over 22 percent of this genre which moved from former Discovery+.
