Before Warner Bros. Discovery merged its streaming services to only one, Discovery+ had more TV shows available on the platform than HBO Max in April 2023. However, while HBO Max provided over 400 quality-rated TV series, Discovery+ made only about 290 TV series with a quality label of 6.5 and higher on IMDb available. The new streaming platform, Max, offers nearly 2,600 TV titles, including for example HBO's originals as well as reality TV shows from Discovery+.
