According to a survey on food delivery apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in April 2023, around 40 percent of respondents in China used food delivery apps less often or stopped using them during the COVID-19 pandemic. The main reason for this was having more time and wanting to cook more at home as well as trying to improve one's diet and health.
