According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in April 2023, around 76 percent of respondents in China between 16 and 24 years old stated that they usually ordered local cuisine meals on food delivery apps, slightly more than respondents in other age groups. Younger people were also more likely to order bubble tea and desserts via food delivery apps than older generation.
