The regional elections in the Valencian community on May 28 saw the Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE) obtain almost five percent more votes than it won in 2019. However, the party with the biggest growth was the Partido Popular (PP) which obtained more than 16 percentage points than in the last elections, thus gaining 21 new seats. The Ciudadanos party, on the other hand, saw a sharp drop of approximately 16 percentage points less, thus losing all 18 parliamentary seats it had won.
