An overwhelming majority, 80 percent of small and medium-sized Hungarian enterprises stated that internal motivation was a reason behind the aspiration of being labeled as sustainable in 2022. About a third of respondents also mentioned the intention to reduce environmental risks, as one of the reasons. Around 15 percent of participants mentioned mandatory regulation, customer expectation as well as the improvement of the company profile as a motivation to be sustainable.
