According to a biennial study on the distribution channels in the hotel industry in European countries, online travel agencies (OTA) accounted for the highest share of hotel bookings in Sweden in 2023, at more than 37.1 percent. By contrast, tour operators and travel agencies represented less than three percent of transactions.
