Global FCEV fleet in selected country by vehicle segment 2022

As of 2022, astock of some 29,300 light-duty passenger fuel cell electric vehicles was in circulation in South Korea, contributing to it being the country with the largest FCEV fleet across vehicle segments of the countries surveyed. In contrast, no light commercial vehicles or trucks using fuel cell electric propulsion were in use in the country. This pattern was observable across all the countries recorded, where light passenger vehicles and buses were the most popular segments for fuel cell vehicle propulsion.
