Level of concern about data privacy global 2022
According to a 2022 study, 45 percent of interviewed adults in India stated they were not worried about their data being collected by companies or the government. In general, they agreed with the statement that people worry too much about their privacy online. Around 41 percent of respondents in Pakistan and around 34 percent of respondents in Indonesia followed by the share of users agreeing with the same statement. On the other hand, three in 10 users in Japan and the United States disagreed that concerns of global internet users about online privacy are exaggerated.
