According to a survey among adult Americans, most were concerned that pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) overcharge for prescription medicines and pocket the difference as profit. A total of 85 percent of surveyed adults were very concerned (69 percent) or somewhat concerned (16 percent) about this.
