RTP's total advertising revenue totaled 21.35 million euros in 2022, which represented a decrease compared to the 21.5 million euros of ad revenue recorded in 2021. In 2022, the advertising invoice value of RTP, the public service broadcasting organization of Portugal, was the highest in case of free-to-air television, reaching 206 million euros. Digital advertising followed, having billed almost 151 million euros. The billing value of newspapers recorded the highest decrease from 2021 to 2022, as it went from over seven million euros to not even six million euros.
