In Portugal, advertising investments totaled 571 million euros in 2017, rising to 598 million euros by 2019. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic led to a decrease and only 512 million euros were invested in advertising that year. In 2021, the rising tendency was recovered, as there were 580 million euros invested in advertising.
