Gen Z and millennials without an Apple Card were much more likely to open a savings account with Apple than older U.S. adults. Roughly 38 percent of millennials were very or somewhat likely to open an Apple savings account even though they did not own an Apple Card. In partnership with Goldman Sachs, Apple Inc. started offering a savings account to its Apple Card users in April 2023. Over half of the respondents who used online payment methods in the last year used Apple Pay at point of sale (POS) in the United States.
