Public transport lines length in Egypt 2015/2016-2019/2020
The length of public transport lines in Egypt amounted to around 250,000 kilometers as of 2019/2020. This was an increase from almost 238,100 kilometers the previous year. The length of public transport routes operated by governmental authorities, the public business sector, and the private sector companies peaked in 2017/2018 at close to 413,700 kilometers. Moreover, the number of public transport routes amounted to 1,613 in 2019/2020.
