During the financial year 2023, State Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection emerged as the primary source of tax revenue for the Delhi government in India, contributing approximately 273 billion Indian rupees. In contrast, the State excise tax accounted for 55 billion rupees of the total tax revenue.
