Number of diagnosed cancers among males in South Africa 2019, by ethnicity
As of 2019, 20,743 cancers were diagnosed among the white male population group, which contributed around 50 percent of all diagnosed cancers among males in the same year. The Black African male population group followed with 14,103 cases, contributing approximately 34 percent to the overall amount in 2019.
