In 2024, Europe led the rankings as the region with the highest percentage of companies setting carbon reduction targets, with 83 percent of large companies reporting such commitments. The Americas followed closely with 81 percent, and the Asia-Pacific region reported 80 percent. In contrast, the percentage was lower in the Middle East and Africa, at 64 percent.
